 operated by Richard Bird and licensed by Ofcom and the Office of Utility Regulation. Registered at the Data Protection Office.

Relationship:
Links provides two-way radio and other services in return for a fee relating to the length of contract requested. Long-term contract payments are to be made monthly in advance by standing order

Data Protection and GDPR

This company collects information from customers as such as name, address, phone number and email address for the purposes of the operation of the business and the customer's needs. This information is retained for an indefinite period.
We also keep records of equipment installation and dates of changes to the service or systems.
In order to keep track of our assets and to make contact with our customers we need to keep contact details. We do not normally share those details with third parties except for those whom we subcontract certain jobs and to assist us in running the business and providing the customer with service.
The data is recorded and stored either in electronic format or by hand in a written diary, ledger or file in Guernsey.

Links does not operate general doorstep selling, telesales operation nor mass mail shots either by letter post or email. Links does, for example, occasionally advise selected existing and prospective customers of occasional offers and services.

Data Protection act - Personal information is requested from subscribers such as name, address and phone number. This data is kept in an electronic format.

Customer Service

Cancellation of contract hire will be as per individual contract. For example a minimum 12 month contract would require one month notice after the minimum contract period had passed, cancellation before that date would incur a charge for the balance of hire due and any fitting fees.


Service Rates :
All rental / lease trackers and two way radios are repaired and installed free of charge (Excluding Physical Damage)

The rates listed below are for out of hours and non rental / lease items.
Service call out and workshop facilities are charged at the following rates;

10am to 4pm £70 per hour
4pm to 8pm £160 per hour
8pm to 10am £250 per hour
Weekends £160 per hour
Bank Holidays £250 per hour
Christmas/ New Year periods £500 per hour
minimum charge period 1 hour
Preparation and submitting statements and copy invoices £60 per hour, minimum charge £60

Complaints:
Initially direct to Links and if not resolved through Petty Debts / Royal Court procedures as dictated by Guernsey Law after initial contact with the Office of CICRA
